Advice on fire safety with automatic sprinkler systems

N.T.S.A. installs and maintains your sprinkler system from A to Z, for both new construction and renovation projects. A sprinkler is the ideal extinguishing solution for buildings and production areas, as it automatically and rapidly combats the source of fire. As a certified company, we guarantee that your sprinkler system is installed in compliance with standards such as EN 12845, CEA 4001, NFPA, or FM regulations. We therefore combine both technical expertise and aesthetic considerations.

The tank must have sufficient capacity to meet the requirements. The pump should be selected to provide an almost flat flow-pressure characteristic to prevent pressure fluctuations and water hammer in the pipes. When multiple pumps are combined to handle variable demand, the remaining pumps must be able to deliver the required pressure and flow if one pump fails.

A hydrant (also called a fire hydrant) is a tapping point for emergency services. With a hydrant, the fire brigade can easily connect to the water supply and access an unlimited amount of extinguishing water.

We distinguish three different types of hydrants:

  1. underground hydrant
  2. above-ground hydrant
  3. wall hydrant

Hoses, like fire extinguishers, are a first line of defense in fire fighting. They are suitable for Class A fires.

The best of the best
Deluge and Preaction systems are unique in their simplicity.
The valves, basic trim, and control units are the same for both systems.

Labor-saving features mean low installation costs
Dry systems are typically installed in areas at risk of freezing, such as unheated warehouses, loading docks, and outdoor installations.

  1. sprinkler
  2. control station
  3. air pressure regulator
  4. pressure switch

Easy to install – easy to maintain
The wet system is the simplest and most commonly used sprinkler system for fire protection. Wet systems are often installed in factories, warehouses, and office buildings where the risk of freezing temperatures is minimal.

  1. sprinkler
  2. control station
  3. internal valve
  4. retard chamber
  5. pressure switch
  6. hydraulic bell

A sprinkler system allows you to protect people and property from fire hazards. Thanks to its automatic activation, it operates continuously, day and night.
